March Madness!

Aloha,
It was March Madness!! We had lots of fun. Zia ( auntie) Jacquie came to visit. We played in the sun building lots of sand castles, riding bikes, surfing, fairs, hiking and so much more, it was great. Mom and Dad got me this cool bike seat that sits on the front of the bike and we cycle around the neighborhood. I like the wind in my face.I had so much fun building big sand castles with Mom and Zia. The piles of sand are fun to climb up and slide down.
One day we went surfing with my new life jacket. I was relaxed and did it with ease for my first time. no problems. We also went to the fun factory and played on the rides I really liked the big digger. That was cool. Dad and Zia took me to the Whale festival where I got to swing in a swing, play in the playground and ride the slide.
One night Mom and Dad went out and Zia babysat me. Mom and Dad came home to us sleeping on the couch listening to techno music.
Mom, Zia and I went to the Bamboo forest and went hiking. Mom and I couldn't do the last steep climb up the ladder since it was to unsafe for us, but we did some steep slippery climbs before this. The big bamboo was swaying and creaking in the wind as if it were talking to us.I liked it in there, lots of waterfalls and big rocks. I learned to throw rocks and play in a stream while mom and I waited for Zia as she hiked a little further then us.
One day I got the help Mom and Dad rig their windsurfing sail. I liked playing on it especially when Mom and Dad held me up high on it.
We had fun while Zia was here and was sad when she left. But guess what?? Shes coming back next week with my cousins and Zio. Looks like more fun for me coming up. Check out my next post when the Barones visit.

Its already Feb!!

Aloha!
I am enjoying the New Year with lots of adventure, learning , playing and having fun. I'm now 7 months and learning so many new things. I am crawling, standing, grabbing and trying to eat everything I can put in my mouth. I am even eating different foods, like sweet potatoes, pears, apples, bananas, papaya, mango and so much more.
I have been out surfing on the standup paddle board in small waves . Dad pushes Mom and I into the wave and we ride it to shore, its fun! We will have pictures next time. I really enjoying playing with the play centre my Auntie Lois got me for Christmas. Last week we had some cold days here and I was sick with a cold so Mom would bundle me up in my sweater that Tata and Tutu got me for Christmas and we would go for walks. Now I feel all better and back to playing again. I like jumping around out in the front yard in my Johnny Jump by the ocean. Its fun. So see you next month after some more adventures on Maui.

New Years Eve n Day.

Aloha Wow!! its a new year!! 2009 and Im 6 months old. We had a great New Years Eve. Papa made a good fire on the beach near our house and we had friends over to celebrate with us. Our parents stayed up till midnight ,but Liam and I slept by the cracking fire right into 2009.
The New Year has already brought some great days at the beach and playing in the water. Looks like its going to be a great year.
